Description
Relay For Life is an overnight community event that raises cancer awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society. The event is a CELEBRATION OF LIFE for survivors, a memorial for loved ones lost, and a rally for the community to fight cancer. Teams form from businesses, clubs, service groups, families, friends, hospitals, school and faith organizations. A representative from each team is always out on the track walking, jogging or running. Throughout the event there are games, activities, entertainment, and special ceremonies to honor and remember those who have been touched by cancer.
