Mission Statement

Mature citizens will have expectations for full and meaningful lives, with opportunities to contribute to the community. This will be accomplished through the utilization of current knowledge and skills, as well as opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge.

Realization of these opportunities will include traditional full or part time work, new business ventures, consulting, mentoring and/or volunteering. Activities will be defined by the mature adults taking into account their interests and where and how they wish to contribute.

Serving as role models for successful aging across the lifespan, mature citizens will open new doors and write new scripts for what it means to be an older adult within a community. This will include expectations that their contributions are necessary and critical to the overall well-being of their community.
