Community Cat Coalition of Clark County (C5)

C5 is an excellent organziation that helps our feral friends in so many ways. I had a great experience learning how to conduct Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). I was able to do TNR with the cats that passed through my yard with ease. The volunteers are wonderful to work with. It's a truly rewarding experience and I am so grateful for what C5 is doing for our community cats, not just TNR but also connecting people with low or no cost spay and neuter, educating the public, and saving the lives of hundreds each month. I'm so glad to be a part of this wonderful organization!!

As a member and volunteer of C5 for several months, I highly recommend C5 as a positive volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in cats and cat welfare. The organization, although new in concept and development, is a growing professional group. The members are dedicated to the care of feral and community cats abandoned throughout Las Vegas through spay and neuter of the cats and return and maintenance of colonies. This is a new concept to Las Vegas, where the feral and community cat population continues to grow due to the economy, foreclosures. C5 volunteers work directly with the cats, caretakers and trappers. In addition, they are working on providing education to individuals and businesses about the advantages of maintaining a community cat colony. The group is dedicated to working hard for the cats, educating the public, and ensuring volunteers and members are assisted in finding the best work area for their skills and personality. I highly recommend this organization.
