The overriding mission at Connecticut Renaissance is to continue expanding and diversifying behavioral health, criminal justice and research services for adults, adolescents, and families in Connecticut, leading to a positive outcome for the community at large.

Description

Connecticut Renaissance Inc. is one of the oldest non-profit drug treatment agency in the state. Since opening its doors in 1967, Renaissance has undergone phenomenal growth. Today, in addition to providing substance abuse services, Renaissance also provides psychiatric and co-occurring treatment services.

Through these programs, Renaissance has developed a strong reputation for providing high quality and low cost supervision, treatment and comprehensive individualized services to the diverse and ever-changing population within our communities. This reputation has been built by providing specialized services that include:

  • Case management
  • Individual, group and family counseling
  • Substance abuse services
  • Mental health services
  • Co-occurring services
  • Health and education seminars
  • Life skills training
  • Recreational and social activities
  • Self-help group meetings
  • Formal referrals to community agencies based on individual need

These programs assist our clients in community reintegration, and help prevent antisocial behavior by acquiring the life skills necessary to become productive within society.
