Community Home Trust

Description

Since 1999, Community Home Trust has been dedicated to creating permanently affordable housing and preserving land for the benefit of our community. The Home Trust serves first time homebuyers who work or live in Orange County, NC and make 80% or below of the area median income. The Home Trust sells permanently affordable homes to core employees of our community -university employees, teachers, firefighters, and municipal employees - who would otherwise be unable to afford a home in Chapel Hill or Carrboro. There are currently 165 permanently affordable homes in the Home Trust.
