The Compeer Program and Compeer ClubHouse mission is to help improve the life of it's members by sharing the power of friendship, personal development, and educational opportunities so that they might live successfully within their community.

Description

Men & Women Compeer Friendship Volunteers or Mentors meet one-to-one with an adult, of the same gender, who has a mental disability. The required commitment is 1 hour a week or 4 hours a month. The volunteer is trained, and matched with an individual with similar interests. The hour spent with the Compeer Friend helps to eliminate loneliness and isolation.
