Description

Garden to Table Project

This spring 2010, we here at OHMS-Community Health Education Center are implementing a new program, where we are starting a community garden for 8-10 low income families. The families will participate in garden planning, preparation, maintenance, and harvesting. As well the project will be educationally focused with Garden-biased classes in partnership with the Master Gardeners, healthy cooking classes for the seasonal harvest, and food preservation classes!
