Mission Statement

The Christian Women's Center is a faith based, non-profit that offers refuge and safety to women in crisis. We believe these women can be restored to physical, emotional and spiritual well-being through the love of Jesus Christ. The W.O.W. program is our 12-month extended shelter resident discipleship program. Through this program we offer licensed, Christian counseling, life skills training, career readiness training, Biblical studies, parenting classes, crisis intervention and health and dental care through partnering community organizations. Description

To quote the great missionary to China, Taylor Hudson, "God's work, done God's way, leads to God's supply". We, at the Christian Women's Center believe this to be true. We are seeing God's hand move and bringing hope to hurting women. We are praying, seeking God and trusting Him to continue to provide the increase to allow us to go forward in meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women and children. We know that God has a plan, if we seek Him. We know, as His Word says in Philippians 4:19, "that our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in Glory". because i was astudent there back in july/2007. i stayed there for about five months, i wished i stayed the whole year ,because god was speaking to me. but I left and got my own place , I was not ready for the worldly world, God was not ready for me to go yet.I've had to struggle to try to keep a roof over my head. im married now, im also a christian. yall done a good work in me when i was there . thank yall very much,with all my heart and soul. god bless the christian womens center, yall did make a difference in my life. tell ms mary ,i said hello
