The Diabetes Gala was beautiful and a great event to volunteer at. I will definitely volunteer every year for this event.

I did not receive a call back to confirm whether or not they needed/wanted my help until the night before the event, and because I don't check my messages very often, I didn't get it in time. There was a communication breakdown that prevented me from participating in their event, but I look forward to trying again in the future!

I volunteered for the Tour de Cure in June of 2011. Everybody there is really nice and the people that show up to ride were happy. There were even little kids. They are greatful for the volunteers and if you show up at five they are REALLY greatful. :) I would totally recommend volunteering here.
