Mission Statement

While promoting the terms of the "Berkeley Pledge" and the spirit of service to others, to conduct a spectacular Bay Area wide 3k, 5k, 10k Walk/Run and celebration while providing a major fund-raising opportunity for children, youth and educational groups.

Description

The run for life foundation was established to act as a fundraising vehicle for Bay Area Schools and Youth Groups while offering the children a sense of pride and accomplishment. Each year the foundation organizes a run at Cal Berkeley where Bay Area youth are able to get pledge money and profits for their youth group or school. Children can enter the race for free if they donate 4 hours of community service at their select organization. The Race day consists of a fun run/walk and an end celebration with celebrities and wonderful gifts for the kids.
