Description

Community Healthcore was created as a result of a need in the community to provide services for individuals with mental illness and mental retardation. The original service area of Gregg and Harrison Counties was expanded in 1976 to include Marion, Rusk, Panola and Upshur Counties. In December, 2006, the center merged with Northeast Texas MHMR Center. This merger added Red River, Bowie and Cass Counties to our catchment area. Community Healthcore provides addiction recovery services to 23 counties in Northeast Texas.
