To rescue animals in need either from abuse or neglect and to educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and good pet care.

Description

New Beginnings is a no-kill, non-profit 501c3 organization with a state of the art cage-less cat shelter in a park like setting in rural Bourbonnais, IL. Cats live in a free-roaming home-like environment with a staff of volunteers to make sure they receive excellent care and attention. New Beginnings for Cats also facilitates TNR in the community and provides an enclosed indoor-outdoor facility for feral cats. As truely a no-kill facillity, New Beginnings for Cats provides a sanctuary for FIV positive cats and works to educate the public on accepting these cats into their homes as pets. The shelter also is home to many Feline Leukemia positive cats and maintains their health to live comfortably for the duration of their lives.
