Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate, empower and equip teenagers and young adults with the skills to excel in the areas of academics, financial literacy, professional and career development, and community service. We fulfill our mission through the Thinking Ahead College Preparatory Program and the Essence of a Haitian Woman Scholarship Foundation.

Description

Thinking Ahead College Preparatory Program, in partnership with Miami Edison Senior High School aims to assist the College Assistance Program in providing college bound juniors and seniorswith the college application process through workshops, seminars and field trips. In addition to the college preparatory curriculum, TACPP prepares students by targeting the areas of professional and career development, civic involvement and financial literacy. Programs such as: Operation Reach One, Fiscally FIT Workshops: Making Dollars with $ents, Fiscally FIT TV: Using Financial Literacy to Empower our Community, TACPP Awards and Scholarship Program, and REACH OUT Alumni Network.
