The Middle is a provider of arts, culture and entertainment serving the entire Central New Hampshire region and beyond. The Middle presents programming targeted to "the middle" - something for everyone (from operas to comedy nights; from dramatic plays to bluegrass music; from children’s programs to the symphony; etc.). We feature local, regional and national artists, and target a middle price-point, focused on quality, distinctiveness and value. The Middle operates in the historic Franklin Opera House in downtown Franklin, and the organization has a specific aim to catalyze and support healthy development and community building of Franklin and the region.
