This team’s focus is on maintaining a visible, positive presence for CAS in the community through the use of media, social media and print communications. Team members help keep our supporters and the animal-loving public informed about our activities, our programs, our successes and our upcoming events. Examples of opportunities for you as a team member include: Writing for social media and Constant Contact (our Eblast platform) Writing for our newsletter, Finding Sanctuary Writing articles for local print and online publications Creating videos Designing posters and promotional materials Assisting with graphic design Writing advertising copy We encourage people who live in Mercer and Bucks Counties, and the surrounding areas to apply. This team’s focus is to assist with CAS fundraising efforts through local businesses, major donors, and fundraising events. Examples of opportunities for you as a team member include: Assisting in creating and participating in small local fundraisers throughout the year Writing promotional material for fundraisers Establishing relationships with donors for future fundraisers and potential sponsorships Participating in our annual dog walk fundraiser "Paws on the Path" Serving on the committee for our annual "I’m Rescued and ..." calendar contest Writing/editing pet bios for our annual calendar Assisting with "Appetite for Saving Animals" events, in which CAS sets up a table at a local restaurant Participating in "Business Outreach", establishing relationships with local storefront businesses for placing donation cans, promoting programs and events, and requesting sponsorship Working a shift at one of our tabling events, that occur on weekends at local business (e.g., Shoprite, McCaffreys, Newtown Wine & Spirits)

This team educates our donors, supporters, and the community at large about (1) the work that we do at CAS to help dogs and cats in need, (2) No-Kill philosophy and the "No More Homeless Pets" movement; and (3) other animal welfare issues related to our mission. Examples of opportunities for you as a team member include: Writing for our newsletter, Finding Sanctuary Public speaking to students, civic organizations, 55+ communities Writing articles for local print and online publications Creating and running workshops for the community Contacting and speaking to larger area businesses (50+ employees) We encourage people who live in Mercer and Bucks Counties, and the surrounding areas to apply. The goal of this team is work in a variety of ways that result in adoption of dogs and cats into forever homes. Examples of opportunities for you as a team member include: Vetting foster and adoption applications, including vet checks and home visits Writing bios of pets for adoption websites and social media Serving as a pet Ambassador who stays in touch with adoptive families to obtain stories and photos, then completing brief reports Working on "special projects" that more actively promote dogs and cats that have been identified as difficult to adopt Transporting pets coming to meet their adoptive families Participating in meet and greets and adoption events We encourage people who live in Mercer and Bucks Counties, and the surrounding areas to apply. This team is the backbone of CAS and what it accomplishes. Working in the CAS office, team members assist with responding to calls and emails asking our assistance with surrender, adoption, resource referral, and information regarding dogs and cats. They also help out with a variety of office tasks. Examples of opportunities for you as a team member include: Responding to calls and emails on our Animal Help and Adoption Network Assisting in expanding network resources of dog and cat rescues, shelters, veterinary services, trainers, day care & boarding, and other pet-related services Responding to initial inquiries from potential pet adopters Facilitating the beginning, administrative process for surrenders and adoptions Assisting with office work and other special administrative projects We encourage people who live in Mercer and Bucks Counties, and the surrounding areas to apply.
