Mission Statement

The mission of The Crossings Animal Society is to ensure a loving home and quality care for every dog and cat in our community.

Located in Bucks County, PA, we also help dogs and cats in Mercer and Hunterdon counties in NJ, as well as in other nearby locations.

Our approach is to work with rescue and animal welfare organizations, shelters, veterinarians, trainers, and animal lovers like you to become a no-kill community. Having a no-kill community means that we save 95-98% of all dogs and cats, regardless of age or "adoptability".

We work in two ways to fulfill our mission: (1) our "United Paw" programs that directly assist dogs and cats, and (2) building the area's first no-kill dog and cat sanctuary.

Would you recommend The Crossings Animal Society, Inc.?

This organization has no time to give to volunteers, and I cannot imagine how neglected their animal care network must be! I do not recommend volunteering here; too many false opportunities and false hope for both volunteers and surrendered animals. Please volunteer elsewhere and help organizations that actually need it!

I think there are too many kill shelters in all the states. It is cruel to put any animal down for whatever reason there may be.
