The Mishpachah Multipurpose Teaching and Training Center is dedicated to improving the life of persons affected by the social and prison systems within the demographic areas of Antelope Valley California which includes but is not limited to Northern Los Angeles, Kern, and San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Mishpachah identifies, defines and advocates the needs of persons with re-entry, social displacement, homelessness and foster care dysfunction to implement strategies to meet those needs.
MMTTC provides information and education to assistance, job placement, lifestyle survival counseling and training, parent counseling anger management, substance and domestic abuse as well as informing and educating the community (employer education and job creation) so as to maintain their place in society as productive citizens.
By recognizing these needs, along with social disenfranchisement, disability awareness
their families, educators, employers, the social services & medical communities and the general public at large in order to further their understanding of the needs of persons with non-skill disorders and to increase the community’s responsiveness to those needs.
Mishpachah’s proposal directly addresses our mission by: improving the quality of life of persons with social disenfranchisement, client advocacy needs, and re-entry from prison and relative systems. Meeting the needs of these persons with emancipation concerns (fostering self-sufficiency, vocational assistance and job placement), and training and educating the community by (employer education and job creation) of these
needs, along with heightening the debilitating awareness of neglect of these entities Mishpachah believes it’s actions will prove the success of the facility and its mission it can only strengthen the community and the global social climate as a whole.
