Mission Statement

The mission of Wyoming Association for Creative Youth is the promotion and development of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) techniques for children and adults. We provide CPS training opportunities and competitions utilizing: diverse skills, risk taking, conflict resolution, and collaboration. We are building individual self worth that spans the economic, geographic, and cultural boundaries of our state.

Wyoming Association for Creative Youth is a sanctioned 501(c)(3) organization consisting of parents and educators. We are the proud sponsor of Destination ImagiNation.

Description

Our main goal is teaching Creative Problem Solving and Life-long learning skills to students k-12, plus University level.

We sponsor Destination ImagiNation which focus on teamwork, creativity and creativity thinking. We are all over the state, county and world.

We host a State Meet each year (end of March/first part of April) at Casper College in Casper Wyoming. All of our teams come together for an opening ceremony on Friday night at one of the local hotels, and then for a fun filled day of competetions and excitement at Casper College.

We are run by volunteers and our board of directors include alumni, and members of the business world as well as parents and teachers.

We love kids, and want them to use their imagination to reach for the stars!!
