Mission Statement
At Sheridan Elementary After School Program, we foster a safe and healthy environment where students will grow through academically, physically, and creatively engaging activities. We will also build an emotionally secure community where our students will develop respect for themselves and appreciation for our diverse cultures.
Description
Our After School Program (ASP) is a collaboration between the Stonestown Family YMCA, SF Unified School District, and the SF Department of Children, Youth, & Families.
We serve nearly 100 elementary school students with a safe, engaging, fun, and academically enriching program from 2:00 to 6:00 each day.
Our students come a rich diversity of families, backgrounds, and nations. But we all share a common pride in our school, and a commitment to excellence.
We have many rewarding opportunities for volunteers. We are looking for responsible and reliable teenagers and adults to help on a regular basis with our enrichment activities, recess supervision, garden work, and homework help.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity in a tight-knit school community. Join us today!
