Our purpose is to reach teenage girls who are pregnant or have already entered the role of motherhood, by entering their world and modeling the unconditional love of Christ. There are more than 1 million teenage girls who become pregnant each year, and more than 500,000 of them become mothers. As part of Young Life's vision to reach "every kid," our desire is to reach every kind of teenager, including the disenfranchised kids, the hard-to-reach kids, those who have a disability, the urban, suburban and multicultural kids and teen moms. As a mission, we are striving to effectively reach these young girls and their babies. A young mother's need for unconditional love, compassion and parental guidance places us in a unique position to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to this extremely vulnerable group of individuals.
