Description

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is a non-profit organization composed of doctors and laypersons working together for compassionate and effective medical practice, research, and health promotion. PCRM promotes preventive medicine through good nutrition and has led the way for reforms of federal nutrition policies. PCRM opposes unethical human and animal experiments, and is working to eliminate them and encourage researchers to use more efficient, non-animal, research methods. PCRM has 100,000 members worldwide, including over 6,000 physicians.
