Mission Statement

The Dallas Police Department needs people who want a "second career" in the field of law enforcement. Volunteer police officers who do everything full-time patrol officers do, but on a part-time basis. Reserve police officers receive no monetary compensation for their work. The reward is in knowing that, by doing their part in protecting the community, they have become a part of the solution to public safety.
