Description

Bring the world to your home! Become a CIEE host family

Welcoming an exchange student to your family is like opening a window to a different world. You and your family will not only gain a new family member, you will also learn about a different culture, its values and traditions.

Host families:

  • Welcome a student into your home as a family member.
  • Provide the student with a single bed, either sharing the room with a child of the same gender and approximate age, or having a single bedroom.
  • A quiet place for study must also be available.
  • Provide meals with the exception of lunches on school days.
