Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Our Mission The mission of the White Bluffs Center is to promote and celebrate the art and craft of quilting and textile arts through educational opportunities for children and adults; to preserve the history of textile arts as uniquely American art forms; and to enhance the community by providing a welcoming place where people can share their knowledge and heritage through their love of quilting, weaving, spinning, basketry and textile arts.
The White Bluffs Center for Quilting and Fiber Arts is located in a store front in West Richland, WA. The Center serves the Central Washington Basin, with folks coming to attend classes and presentations from a 200 mile radius. We have a very active Summer Program for Children, Classes, Study Groups and Friendship Groups, Exhibits and other textile related activities . The Center is not just for quilting but represents the weavers, spinners, basket makers, knitters, clothing designers and sewers and all other aspects of the Fiber Arts. The Center has no paid employees, but exists solely with volunteer labor. The goal of the Center is to build a Textile Arts Center in West Richland.
