As a New York-based not-for-profit with a national mission, ycivics recognizes the intent for civic engagement that is already present in our nation's young people. Our goal is to harness this power, and by providing the necessary resources, give youth the ability to act on their passions, make a tangible impact on their communities and make their generation's voice heard on the national stage.

Description

ycivics is a New York City based non-for-profit social venture that encourages civic engagement, student filmmaking, and citizen journalism. We help young people plan, distribute, and gain funding for the civic content they create.
