Mission Statement

"The 21st century can be the next great American century if we make the necessary investments in our children. In an effort to ensure that American children lead the world in creativity and achievement, we must address the current epidemic breakdown of the family unit.

Description

The Cognitive Institute of Dallas Inc, dba CID, is a non-profit corporation serving families impacted by parent-child separation through divorce, teen runaway and/or pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, women of family violence and neglect or high-risk behaviors, incarceration and substance abuse.

Helping those without Awareness, Resources and Hope

Children who experience parental separation or no equal access to both parents, are more likely than those in intact families to experience a range of emotional and behavioral adjustment problems, and to perform. Families facing extraordinary stress can create pressures, which produce high-risk activities and behaviors.
