Description
Associated Health Resource Center (AHRC), incorporated in 2000 was borne out of passion for the poor and hard-to-reach communities.
AHRC is a social-health, education and economic empowerment agency.
AHRC is a Tax-exempt status since October 2000
Our priority population are women, children and youth including special population (women in jail or prison).
Our service deliveries are in the area of social-health education and encouraging individuals, families, groups or communities to engage in healthy life styles practices aiming at sustainable behavioral change. AHRC believes that good health is priceless and must be preserved through proactive measures.
This, we accomplished through public health awareness campaigns, education, advocacy, capacity-building/technical support, community mobilization, community outreach, health literacy, location and distribution of basic needs (water, food & clothes), case management, relief effort, mentoring, medical missions and support services to those in need. AHRC's philosophy lies in the fact that educated consumers make informed decisions when it comes to making decisions that affecy their lives and those of significant others. AHRC works in collaborations with other organizations in reaching our mission. AHRC assesses sustainable behavioral changes as a good outcome measure (impact) or indicator aligns with our mission.
