The City of Commerce Public Library Commerce READs Center is dedicated to serving individuals 16 and over who wish to improve their basic reading and writing skills. Trained volunteers tutor adults in a one-on-one confidential setting. The service is free of charge and is offered to ensure the well being of the residential and industrial communities and to respond to the needs of the people and to promote life-long learning.
We are a library literacy service program and tutoring is done in the Commerce READs Center. We have extensive materials that are available for check out as well as instructional materials to help both tutor and student.
