A volunteer does not replace the work of paid hospital personnel, but augments the services to provide that personal touch to our customers.

Serving patients since 1892, the 1,059-bed teaching hospital employs nearly 6,000 people which includes, 1250 volunteers, nearly 2,000 registered nurses and has a superior medical staff of more than 1,200 experienced physicians who deliver advanced healthcare to nearly 50,000 inpatients and 775,000 outpatients each year. It is a regional destination hospital in Columbus, Ohio, that is home to a number of top specialty centers including Heart and Vascular Services, Neuroscience, Cancer, Women's Health, Emergency and Trauma Services, Hand and Microvascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Imaging and Bariatric Surgery.
