Our goal is to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a terminal illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. We seek to improve the quality of a patient's last days by offering comfort and dignity and making their "journey" a little easier.

There is no greater honor and privilege than to care for those individuals who are transitioning from one phase of life to the next. At the Dr. Matthew S. Shwartz Hospice & Palliative Care, each journey is treated as a special, intimate experience, guided with love and respect by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

To meet the needs of the individual and his or her family, our hospice team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing comprehensive care for residents from Chelsea, Massachusetts and nearby communities.

By promoting comfort and quality of life, Shwartz Hospice serves its clients and their families with expert knowledge in the field of palliative care, carried out with the utmost dignity and understanding.
