Ticket to Success was formed in 2009 after its founder noticed that many students, recent graduates and young entrepreneurs in the community lacked access to the necessary tools, resources and networking opportunities to achieve their professional goals.
Ticket to Success was created to provide a much needed catalyst to help individuals navigate their road to success.
Year after year many young professionals miss out on valuable networking events and training opportunities in their area of interest due to the lack of funding to participate. Access to such events and resources could be the very ticket they need to achieve their career goals. Sadly, some young professionals with limited access to these tools lack the business savvy to properly use them to their advantage. Additionally, they may also be first-generation business leaders with no one to turn to for guidance. More often than not, these individuals are from underrepresented backgrounds and at an economic disadvantage compared to their more successful well-connected peers.
It became our goal to provide these emerging leaders access to tools, resources, technology, training, activities and events that assist in career development.
As the organization continues to grow, our mission and goals remain constant as we help young professionals rise to the top in hopes that they will one day do the same for the next generation of leaders.
