Mission Statement

The Mission of The Family Y is to serve individuals and families in the CSRA through programs designed to build healty spirit, mind and body, reflecting the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition while maintaining respect for all people.

Description

The Family Y is recognized as the premier social service agency in the CSRA due to its innovative programming, its strategically located programming centers, its safe and clean environment and its outstanding customer service. Character development is a visible component of the Family Y as we strive to build a stronger spirit, mind and body. Core programs emphasize strengthening youth, families and the community while using active volunteers and a dedicated staff. Annual Support Giving, Legacy and Financial Aid Assistance increase annually in keeping with our mission of not turning anyone away. The Family Y commits to being a creative risk taker while changing lives for the better.
