Helping Orphans Worldwide HOW

Description

The goal of HOW is to assist in and develop long-term, self-sustaining programs that will have a positive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of needy children around the world. HOW works directly with other non-profit organizations globally to provide immediate and long-term assistance to defend, protect and rehabilitate children who are victims of abuse and neglect. We support the initiatives of best practice charities through funding and collaborative projects. In addition, we provide direct support to selected organizations through Volunteer Immersion Programs that seek to raise awareness and promote child advocacy.

HOW is currently working in Vietnam. Our programs include:

--Feeding and Hygiene Program: HOW supports hungry children with food and nutritional supplements, as well as hygiene supplies to orphaned children.
--Arts and Education Program: HOW provides school supplies, textbooks and art materials to children ages 5-18.
--Sustainable Futures Program: Road building and clean water projects that promote sustainability for rural orphanages.
--Scholarship Program: HOW is developing a program that will give some hard working children the chance they deserve to receive an education.
