Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens is a private, nonprofit agency that prides itself on an unwavering dedication to provide quality services to the older adults of Buchanan, Russell,Dickenson, and Tazewell Counties in Southwest Virginia.

Description

Appalachian Agency provides programs that help the older adult maintain his or her optimal independence while providing caregivers with a reliable source of support. AASC provides in-home services and daycare services that enable caregivers the respite they need to continue providing care for the older adult at home. Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens programs include, home-delivered meals, case management, home repair, ombudsman, transportation, senior nutrition centers and senior clubs,legal services, insurance counseling, health promotion, elder abuse prevention, homemaker, fan care and cooling assistance, personal care, emergency services such as food, shelter and clothing.
