Mission Statement

To get more dogs adopted from overpopulated high kill shelters.

Description

Furever Home Dog Rescue saves adoptable dogs from overpopulated high-kill shelters. Volunteers then foster the dogs until they are placed in their furever homes. We welcome people who are interested in fostering and have a passion and love for dogs.

Puppies under 6 months are kept in quarantine for 2 weeks to see if they have any medical issues before they arrive here in NJ. They will have their age appropriate shots, flea and tick preventative, and have been dewormed. Puppies under 6 months are adopted out with a contract requiring the adopters to spay/neuter the pup and 6 months and to provide documentation to Furever Home Dog Rescue.

Pups over the age of 6 months are spayed/neutered prior to being adopted out, have their rabies shot, all age appropriate shots and vetting including flea and tick preventative and deworming.
