Mission Statement

Abraham Lincoln high school (ALHS) continues to grow and achieve within the Denver Public School district. This high school has developed a culture of college preparedness, high attendance, and enthusiastic school spirit. Undoubtedly, this school provides a rigorous educational experience and supportive learning environment to nearly 2,000 of Denver’s high school students.

Description



In order to continue supporting all students, we will be opening an after-school tutoring center at ALHS to provide high school students the opportunity to receive academic assistance on school grounds. By institutionalizing a free, daily tutoring program within the building, we are confident that more students will be able to access consistent homework help outside of the classroom. Upon implementation of this program, we plan to see increased student test scores and improved grades.
