Our mission is to make sure that seniors are eating at least one balanced nutritious meal per day, regardless of their ability to pay.

Description

The Senior Nutrition Program is part of a nonprofit corporation called Senior Outreah Services. For over 32 years, SOS has been providing primarily free or affordable services to the families, children, seniors and disabled of Contra Costa County. SOS services are intended to assist low-income, frail, disabled and homebound seniors in remaining functional, viable, independent and in their own homes so as to prevent premature institutionalization.
