Mission Statement

The Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) was established in 1983 to conserve, rehabilitate, and enhance the state’s natural and environmental resources while providing educational opportunities and meaningful work experiences for young adults (ages 18 to 25).

Partnerships have been created with local, state, and federal agencies to complete restoration, recreation, and other stewardship projects.

Description

The WCC is a part of the Washington State Department of Ecology.
