Mission Statement
TL3C is a unique nonprofit organization that is dedicated to directing the underserved through comprehensive assessment and mentoring to achieve life goals ...academic, social, cultural, and professional.
Description
A free resource hub, TL3C reaches out to assist those who are 16 - 25 years old to regain focus, build self-awareness, foster self-esteem, and bolster confidence by assessing how they learn and then providing each a one-on-one, structured mentorship to guide each to success. TL3C first assesses the individual needs of each client, creating an academic, social, cultural, and professional-interest profile. Then TL3C matches each client to a mentor who provides weekly guidance and support. TL3C then delivers a myriad of referrals to meet the clients' needs. And all clients and mentors meet monthly to share and learn through skill training workshops. Our clients become a community, as mentoring, the key element of the TL3C agenda, allows graduates to return and give back, sharing their successes.
