Dear Norma A, please accept my apology if you were not contacted. I certainly make every effort to respond to requests in a timely manner. I see you submitted a request on 2/23/10. Hospice is still in need of office workers, and would greatly appreciate your help. If you are still interested, please contact me at 707-645-2245, and I would gladly send you an application. Once again, I apologize, and hope I have the opportunity to work with you.

I sent in a volunteer request to the hospice program earlier this year. I never heard from them. I am a retired clinician who worked as a case manager in mental health (population 18-65 for 15 years)I later worked for one year as a social worker in a skilled nursing facility before I retired. I also have a doctorate in Psychology. My only stipulation was that I am caring for my mother and that I couldn't do a lot of visitations. I stated that I would be happy to work in the office when needed.
