I sent in a volunteer request to the hospice program earlier this year. I never heard from them. I am a retired clinician who worked as a case manager in mental health (population 18-65 for 15 years)I later worked for one year as a social worker in a skilled nursing facility before I retired. I also have a doctorate in Psychology. My only stipulation was that I am caring for my mother and that I couldn't do a lot of visitations. I stated that I would be happy to work in the office when needed.
