Description

Inspiring Thoughtful Students by Taking Initiative to Motivate Excellence, Inc. (dba IT'S TIME) provides for the advancement of education of middle school students in DC through 3 different programs. Through the financial program, IT'S TIME provides students with information and understanding about the fundamentals of budgeting, banking, and investing. Through the public speaking program, IT'S TIME provides students with oratorical techniques that will enable them to deliver great presentations, communicate effectively in interviewing situations, and improve extemporaneous speaking skills. Through the lunch time speakers program, IT'S TIME provides students with lunch while exposing them to professionals with varying backgrounds and careers. This will increase the students' cultural awareness and allow them to gain an understanding of the skills and education required for their prospective careers. We will offer these three programs to the students weekly.
