Description

At Compassionate Care of Shelby County we believe that no one should go without health care. We are a faith-based free health care clinic located in the city of Sidney. Ever since opening on August 1, 2007 it has been our mission to respectfully provide quality health care and hope to the underserved in Shelby County. We live out this mission by providing care to underserved residents who do not have access to health care because they are uninsured or underinsured and below or at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

All of our visits are made by appointment during an appropriate clinical time. We offer weekly medical clinics, bi-weekly dental clinics, and gynecological clinics three times per month. Additional appointments are made throughout the week with a nurse practitioner and for lab work. During these visits we diagnose acute illness, help patients manage chronic conditions, conduct preventative screenings, give referrals when needed, and provide dental services such as cleanings, repairs, and extractions. In addition, we provide educational materials to our patients and assist them with their medication needs through our onsite pharmacy and by enrolling them in prescription assistance programs.

All that we do at Compassionate Care is made possible because of the efforts of volunteers.
