Description

The Kimball PTSA has a strong history of active involvement with the school community, and is an essential part of the Kimball team. Family education, coordination of volunteer activities, student enrichment programs, fundraising and participation in school planning are among the many objectives of the Kimball PTSA. Standing committees include: Volunteers, Multicultural, Newsletter, Legislation, and KEF (Kimball Education Foundation). Interim committees are assembled throughout the school year. The Kimball PTSA conducts monthly board and general meetings, as well as conducts events with members, throughout the year. Family members and staff serve on the board. Officers include President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Often these positions are shared between two volunteers. The monthly meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend and we have interpretation services available for our non-English-speaking families. Please contact the PTSA president if you wish to have a place on the agenda for upcoming meetings. Elections for the PTSA board are held in the spring. We welcome your participation.
