Goodwood Museum & Gardens, Inc., was established to provide for the restoration, care, maintenance, support and success of the Goodwood Estate as a museum and park for the public.

Description

Stewardship of Goodwood Museum and Gardens focuses on preservation, restoration and adaptive reuse of this unique and valuable property. Our history, our buildings, our gardens, our collections and our stories inspire an appreciation of our past and an interest in our heritage in all who visit or are part of Goodwood. Goodwood is the 21st century links past, present and future.

Goodwood is rich with history and tells a story of pain and triumph. From the death of the original owner of Goodwood and his family to Fanny Tiers to Senator and Mrs. Hodges and finally to Mr. Thomas Hood...their stories all together tell a lovely story of bringing this estate to the grand existence it boasts of today. Goodwood has a lot to offer to people of all ages.
