The Campus Community Partnership of Metro Richmond's vision is to strengthen the civic responsibility of higher education. Its mission is to employ campus resources to address community challenges in Metro Richmond and to offer students relevant learning experiences.

Description

The Campus Community Partnership of Metro Richmond, formerly LINCS, fosters community-based, problem solving teaching methods and connects community and campus resources. Its unique contribution appears to be the ability to connect community and university needs and resources through three interrelated channels, which form the basis of our action plan: 1)Create a collaborative, integrated web site that puts information about community needs and resources in the hands of people who need it; 2)Expand participatory action research in the Richmond community; and 3)Offer a four-school collaborative seminar and internship: Community Problem Solving (COMPS).
