To sensitively, compassionatlely and competently address the respite needs of children and their families affected by HIV by providing practical and emotional support using trained adult volunteers.

Description

The Project CHAMP, at Children's National Medical Center, coordinates activities for children seen at the hospital on an outpatient basis, as well as to families receiving care from other HIV/AIDS partners throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.
