Mission: Makapo helps people living with disabilities live active lives. Volunteer Roles: Admin positions Involves recruitment by contacting service organizations and therapy centers No cold calling. Just people you have already had a connection with Help find HR managers/other management positions Grant writing Accounting Program administration - would have to learn their programs Anything related for a business to be successful Event administrator - about once a week (4 hours) 9 AM - 12 PM on Saturdays in person in Newport Beach Availability: Accounting - no more than 5 hours a week Admin - about 10 to 20 hours per week Could be virtual/hybrid - about once a month in person Description of their perfect volunteer: More independent work Someone that has worked with disabled population before Notes: Could be a team building opportunity!
