Park Pride, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to involving the community in enhancing the quality of life through the protection and improvement of parks and greenspace.
Hundreds of volunteers working hard in our parks--that's how Park Pride manages to coordinate more than 15,000 hours of volunteer work in Atlanta parks annually. The foundation of our work is more than 50 "Friends of the Park" groups, community-based partners working to improve the greenspace in their back yard. These grassroots efforts make sure that our work and the work of our volunteers in meaningful and impactful.
Park Pride also works with communities to develop conceptual plans for their parks through our Park Visioning program. And Park Pride is able to engage and serve the community by focusing on advocacy efforts as well as getting people involved in the Adopt-a-Park, Fiscal Partners and Micro Grant programs.
