Mission Statement

Community Adoption Program Inc (C.A.P.) is a Non profit organization that is launching a viable program consisting of a Nutritional and Ornamental Garden, that will unite residents to cultivate the land and produce nutritious healty foods.

Community Adoption has also launched a Food Pantry. For families and individuals in need.

There were 100 dinners given away on this Thanksgiving day to our less priveledged seniors and families.

Every Saturday we are giving away bread, pastries, and bagels to the families, individuals, and seniors in need.

Description

This project is intended to address hunger by making food easily available to residents in the community. It also addresses social change by helping educate the community on the benefits of organic gardening and nutrition leading to better health. It also allows our youth to learn agriculture and entrepreneurship skills. It allows seniors to interact with the youth. Teaching them how to grow their own food.
