Mission Statement

The NFWSC will offer youth, teens, families, and seniors the opportunity to empower themselves to learn, achieve, and grow. We are committed to providing quality programs that emphasize education, leadership, and life skills throughout every NFWSC affordable housing community.

Description

The Si Se Puede After School Program looks for people who are dedicated to issues of poverty and education. We need someone who is able to lead curriculum through hands on projects that will empower youth to learn and improve grades.

The individual must be available for program hours:

M-TH 2:30-6:00 and F 2:30-4:30

A monthly stipend is available to contract volunteers in addition to an education award at the end of 6 months of service through AmeriCorps.
